What is the process we follow?
The client makes the transport request.
Heavytrans contacts a bonded agent, verifies the weights and measurements of the load, and assigns it an appropriate unit.
Note: All drivers and vehicles go through a selection and verification process that includes the following:
- Review of criminal and judicial records and license points.
- Presentation of complete and updated documentation (Registration, weights and measurements).
- Delivery of operating permit, permits to enter ports and insurance policy.
The empty container is returned to the shipping company.
The client unloads the merchandise and signs the receipt.
The unit makes its journey during which it’s monitored, and constant updates are sent to the client until it arrives at the final destination.
The assigned unit arrives at the port and an inspection is carried out on the loading and transport unit using a checklist.
